IE8 Final Looking Like a March 2009 (or Post-March 2009) Release |

 The giant is offering free and unlimited support for issues related to the deployment and usage of pre-released versions of IE8. Although the official help and support is currently focused on Windows Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 (All Languages), Microsoft does emphasize that pre-released versions of the browser are in fact supported, and not just the second Beta. Up to this point in time the company has promised to support development milestones of IE8 until March 31, 2009.

Quad-Core Phenom II Comes in December |

 According to the latest news on the web, Advanced Micro Devices’ next-generation Deneb-based Phenom II microprocessors are slated for a December launch. To be more precise, the chips are said to be starting shipping on December 20 in the United States, while arriving two days earlier in Europe, on the 18th. As the news indicates, we'll be seeing both the OEM and retail versions of the Phenom II 920 and Phenom II 940 CPUs.
The information on the AMD upcoming chips is said to have been unveiled by an AMD processor distributor only a few days ago. Moreover, pricing for the CPUs has also been disclosed, and word is that the new Phenom II X4 920 (2.8GHz) is expected to feature a price tag of around $235, while the X4 940 (3GHz) should be sold for about $275.
